Saint Lucia has begun playing host to a group of over thiry travel agent partners from the United States and the United Kingdom as part of the 2016 annual romance familiarization visit. 

On Saint Lucia for a four-day period from October 6 to 9th, the rational is to expose the Romance, Weddings and Honeymoon niche buyers to Saint Lucia’s supply market and to highlight the romance related Creative Industries on Saint Lucia. 

The engaging and highly interactive activity will also seek to zero in on the weddings and romance market through direct marketing to the over thirty new agents as well as create an opportunity for local suppliers to develop and grow the romance niche market while enhancing the development of local wedding supplier’s knowledge base of Saint Lucia. 

Participants include Destination wedding coordinators, Travel Agents who specialize in the weddings and honeymoon market, Tour Operators, Saint Lucia’s Wedding/honeymoon destination experts and service providers.

The program features presentations on the destination, round table presentations from wedding suppliers, presentations on small properties, welcome cocktail reception and site inspections of hotels and wedding locations around the island.
