Twelve Saint Lucian hotel partners and DMCs - including The Body Holiday, Sugar Beach Viceroy, Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Calabash Cove amongst others - joined the Saint Lucia Tourist at the stunning National Opera House building in Paris to host over 73 French tour operators, travel agents and press. One on one meetings were held throughout the day to strengthen relationships and increase business from the French market. Operators were impressed with the range of product available in Saint Lucia and a number of new French tour operators will be featuring the destination from winter 2016 onwards.
As a result of the Paris workshop on 22nd March, the Thomas Cook France product manager selected four new Saint Lucia hotels to feature this coming winter 2016/2017. Several other French TO's such as TUI, Turquoise, Exotismes attended the Paris workshop and will also be adding new hotels in the next brochures.
Partners were also pleased to meet new and existing upscale agencies and the luxury market in France continues to increase for Saint Lucia as a destination.
