New Flights into St. Lucia Information on new flights coming soon...
Airline Information For visitors coming from the United States, American Airlines flies twice a week between New York's JFK Airport and Saint Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport on Thursdays and Sundays, American also flies daily between Miami and Saint Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport in the south.
American Eagle flies daily from San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport to George Charles Airport.
US Airways has one flight on Saturdays from Charlotte, NC and another from Philadelphia, PA on Saturdays as well.
Delta has daily service from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to Hewanorra International Airport, Saint Lucia.
Jet Blue flies into the island three times weekly, i.e. Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
A little further north, Air Canada, has service from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Saint Lucia four times per week on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. As of April 17th the airline will operate this service on Saturdays and Sundays until October 30, 2010. Air Canada also offers a weekly flight from Montreal to Hewanorra International Airport until Monday April 21 2010.
WestJet has service between Toronto and St. Lucia on Thursdays and Sundays until December 12, 2010.
SunWing is a chatered service which operates between Saint Lucia and Toronto on Fridays.
Saint Lucia is serviced by two major airlines from the UK. British Airways has non-stop service between London Gatwick Airport and Saint Lucia on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.Virgin Atlantic has service three times a week between London Gatwick and St. Lucia on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
During the peak season, between mid-November and mid-March, a number of tour companies operate charters from London, Toronto, Milan and various Caribbean destinations.
Condor operates between Frankfurt and Saint Lucia on Sundays until April 11 2010. From the following week, the flights will change to Wednesdays only, starting April 21.
LIAT offers an extensive service for regional travel and connections to international destinations.
Air Caraibes offers a daily service between Martinique and Saint Lucia.
Airports There are two (2) airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located 40 miles south of Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which adorns a pleasant coastline on the outskirts Castries.

Airport departure tax Departure Tax of EC $68 (US $26) for all passengers over 12 years is applied to ticket prices at the time of purchase.
Airport Transfers Taxis are readily available from the Hewanorra airport to Castries and the north of the island and should cost in the region of (EC $120 up to 4 persons). Public transport is an alternative, however, passengers must walk their luggage to the main road. The trip to Castries will cost approximately $8.00 EC, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
