Airline Information United Airlines offers non-stop service every Saturday from Newark/New York to Saint Lucia on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft departing Saturdays from New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), the service will commence on July 13, 2013. The service provides convenient connections at Newark Liberty to 22 key US cities including, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, D.C., as well to the major Canadian gateways of Ottawa and Quebec.
American Airlines flies twice a week between New York’s JFK
Airport and Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra Airport, on Thursdays and Sundays. In addition, American flies daily from Miami. A second flight from Miami which will commence on April 8, and will operate on
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.American Eagle flies once daily from San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport to George Charles Airport in the Capital Castries.
US Airways has weekly service from Charlotte NC and Philadelphia PA on Saturdays. A second flight from Charlotte, which commenced on May 9th will operate until August 15th.
Delta provides daily service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to Hewanorra International Airport until August 16th. From August 20th to 30th, the schedule will reduce to 4 days a week – Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
The service will operate Saturday, Sunday and Monday from September 4th to December 20th. Delta resumes daily service from December 21st 2010.
Jet Blue currently offers five weekly flights from New York's JFK on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until September 6th.
During the peak season, between mid-November and mid-March, a number of tour companies operate charters from London, Toronto, Milan and various Caribbean destinations.
Air Canada, has service from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Saint Lucia twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays.
Starting April 17th, flights will operate on Saturdays and Sundays only until October 30, 2010.
WestJet has service between Toronto and Saint Lucia on Thursdays and Sundays.
British Airways has non-stop service between London Gatwick Airport and Hewanorra International Airport on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
This service will operate until Thursday April 1st 2010. As of April 3rd, BA will replace the Friday flights with Saturday flights.
Virgin Atlantic flies to the island three times a week from London Gatwick; Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From May 9 to 23, the Tuesday flight will make a stop in Barbados, inbound and outbound.
The airline will resume this schedule from September 5th to October 12.
Condor provides service from Frankfurt, Germany to Hewanorra International on Wednesdays.
LIAT offers an extensive service for regional travel and connections to international destinations.
Air Caraibes offers a daily service between Martinique and Saint Lucia.
WinAir provides access to Saint Lucia from the more northern islands as well as the Netherland Antilles. Being relatively new, a steady schedule has not yet been adopted.
Air Antilles Express offers flights between Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Lucia on weekends.
Airports There are two (2) airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located 40 miles south of Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which adorns a pleasant coastline on the outskirts Castries.

Airport departure tax Departure Tax of EC $68 (US $26) for all passengers over 12 years is applied to ticket prices at the time of purchase.
Airport Transfers Taxis are readily available from the Hewanorra airport to Castries and the north of the island. Public transport is an alternative, however, passengers must walk their luggage to the main road. The trip to Castries will cost approximately $8.00 EC, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
