1.   What time is it in Saint Lucia?
Saint Lucia is 4 Hours behind Greenwich Mean Time.

2.   What Communication services are available in Saint Lucia?
Cable and Wireless offers a full range of communication services including pre- paid phone cards, Internet access, paging, fax and cellular phone service. Digicel also offers a reliable cellular phone service. There are also many internet cafes on island and internet service is also available at cost at many hotels and other accommodation

3.   What is the approximate taxi fare from Hewanorra International Airport to hotels in the North of the island?
The taxi fare from Hewanorra Airport to hotels in the North of the island is between US$55.00 and US$70.00.

4.   What are the legal requirements for getting married in Saint Lucia?
Applications to marry are made through a local lawyer to the Attorney General, who issues the marriage license for the couple.
- Passport and Birth Certificates
- If either part is divorced, proof of Decree Absolute
- If either part is widowed, death certificate of the deceased spouse
- If a name has been changed by deed, full proof is required
- If one of the parties is under the age of 18, evidence of parental consent is required in the form of an affidavit stamped by a Notary Royal
- If any required documents are not in English, an authenticated translation must be available

5.   Can I use my mobile telephone in Saint Lucia?
Saint Lucia uses the GSM systems and as such any GSM phone should work. If you encounter any problem you should contact any of our mobile service providers.

Mobile telephones are available for rental from Cable & Wireless Caribbean Cellular.

6.   Do I need to get any vaccinations when travelling to Saint Lucia?
The recommended vaccinations are tetanus, typhoid, polio and hepatitis A, these vaccinations are however, not compulsory.

7.   I got married in Saint Lucia and have lost my Marriage Certificate, how can I obtain a copy?
You should contact the Wedding Coordinator at the hotel where you got married and provide them with the following information:
- Wife's maiden name
- Address
- Date of birth for both husband and wife
- Date of marriage

The Registrar who married you will be contacted and will then provide you with another copy of your Certificate.

There are many spots where snorkelling and diving can take place

2.   Can I go windsurfing?
Wind Surfing is becoming increasingly popular on the island, it can be done in the north and south of the island but you should check with your tour operator or local hotel.

3.   Is there any deep sea fishing near Saint Lucia?
Yes, we have numerous charter boats that go out everyday. Our Rodney Bay Marina is also home to the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, along with the very beautiful Marigot Bay where yatchties and deep sea enthusiats may visit. We also host the annual Billfish Tournament commencing in September and ending in October.
