JETBLUE FILGHTS INTO SAINT LUCIA ON SALE
Castries, Saint Lucia – June 8th, 2009 – The Saint Lucia Tourist Board is excited to announce that JetBlue New York - Saint Lucia flights went on sale as of June 4 2009.
The introductory round trip fare for Monday October 26th through November 14, 2009, out of JFK into Hewanorra is US$198.00. Flights must be booked by June 17, 2009, for travel through Nov. 14, 2009, and all travel must originate in the United States. Flights to New York out of Saint Lucia will be available for sale in the coming weeks subject to government approval.
The introductory fare also applies to Barbados and Jamaica, the other two Caribbean islands benefitting from nonstop JetBlue flights from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.
JetBlue’s service into Saint Lucia commences on Monday October 26th. The US airline will fly into the island three times weekly, i.e. Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
The airline will operate its Saint Lucia service with spacious 150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, which offers travelers all of the amenities for which JetBlue has become revered: complimentary seatback television programming, comfortable leather seats, the most legroom in coach of any US airline, unlimited free snacks and industry-leading customer service.
Saint Lucia is also getting set to welcome two additional flights from British Airways out of Gatwick and Condor out of Germany, Both airlines will begin flying into Hewanorra in the fall.
