Fully vaccinated travelers will enjoy expanded access to the destination. Travelers are considered “Fully Vaccinated” once a two weeks has passed since the second dose of the two-shot vaccine or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine. Vaccine proof must be presented on entry to Saint Lucia.
All travelers, regardless of their status (resident, non-resident, fully vaccinated or unvaccinated) must submit a travel registration form, and must take a PCR test 5 days or less before arrival in Saint Lucia.

If I am fully vaccinated, will my children be able to have the same options of expanded access as fully vaccinated visitors?
If your children are 5 and over, and they are not vaccinated but you want them to have the same expanded access as you, as a vaccinated traveler, then they will need to have a PCR test at their hotel on the day after arrival (Non Residents) or at the airport on arrival (Residents). The cost of the test will be borne by the traveler. Test results will be received in 24-48 hours. Once the test is returned negative, these minors will be afforded the same access as their fully vaccinated parents (travelling companions).
Children 4 years and under are afforded the same privileges as their vaccinated parents.
Do fully vaccinated travelers need to remain at their accommodation when they visit Saint Lucia?
No, as of 31st May, all visitors and nationals who are fully* vaccinated are now able to enjoy expanded access to the destination. They are still required to follow all local protocols: social distancing, wearing masks in public places, washing hands/sanitizing regularly. Please note: Saint Lucia’s Authorities know how many doses are required for ALL brands of vaccines.
*Fully vaccinated means you have had the prescribed number of doses and have passed the two-week period, after your final dose. This will be verified by the Saint Lucian authorities
Are EU Vaccination Passports (EU Digital COVID Certificates) acceptable as proof of fully-vaccinated status?
Yes, your EU passport is accepted as vaccine proof. Please travel with the paper copy of the certificate/passport.
What if I have had one dose of the vaccination when I visit Saint Lucia, but two are required to be fully vaccinated?
If you are not fully vaccinated, you are still very welcome to visit Saint Lucia, but you must follow the protocols around unvaccinated visitors: You can stay at a Covid certified property; take Covid-certified tours (see the list here) and visit Covid-certified restaurants.
Are unvaccinated visitors welcome in Saint Lucia?
Yes, all visitors are welcome to Saint Lucia.
All travellers must have a PCR test up to five days before travelling to Saint Lucia and a booking must be made to stay in Covid certified accommodation. This includes visitors who are not fully vaccinated who are required to take Covid-certified tours (see the list here) and visit Covid-certified restaurants.
What is the process if a minor is tests positive?
If a child of vaccinated parents/guardians tests positive, they will be required to isolate along with their parents/guardians who will need to be tested at their expense and kept in isolation.
What proof do I need to show that I am fully vaccinated?
You will be required to show your vaccine card upon arrival, please travel with your card.
If you live in England, Saint Lucia will accept the NHS app or your NHS letter to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status. You should not use your NHS vaccine appointment card to demonstrate your vaccine status. Please make sure you also have a printed screen grab from the NHS app showing your status, and that you keep it with you at all times.
Do fully vaccinated travelers require a Covid-PCR test to enter Saint Lucia?
Yes, all arrivals (5 years and over) are required to submit a Covid-19 PCR test done 5 days or less before arrival into Saint Lucia.
Will I be able to hire a car if I have been vaccinated?
Yes, you can use a Covid certified provider.
Will I be able to go to supermarkets and the local markets if I have been vaccinated?
Yes, you can. You will be required to follow all local protocols including wearing a mask, social distancing, and hand sanitization.
Can I go to any local restaurants and at any time?
Yes, you can visit local restaurants.
Will I be asked to show my vaccination status when I am in Saint Lucia?
Yes, you will be asked to show this when you arrive at the airport. There may also be other random checks of your vaccination proof. Please be prepared and willing to do this if asked in an official capacity. The wristband issued at the airport indicates your status as a fully vaccinated traveler.
Will the digital UK NHS app be okay to show as proof of vaccination?
If you live in UK, Saint Lucia will accept the NHS app or your NHS letter to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status. You should not use your NHS vaccine appointment card to demonstrate your vaccine status. Please make sure you also have a printed screen grab from the NHS showing your status, and that you keep it with you at all times.
How will people know that I have been vaccinated?
You will be issued with a wristband when you arrive in Saint Lucia. This will enable people to identify that you have been fully vaccinated. You should wear the wristband at all times.
Can I stay in a non-certified hotel/accommodation (Airbnb) if I am fully vaccinated?

Can fully vaccinated visitors and returning nationals be picked up at the airport by family and friends?
Yes, however only the driver of the vehicle will be allowed access to the airport.
What happens if I test positive on my departure testing?
If you receive a positive test result you will be required to isolate immediately, and your accommodation provider should arrange for a PCR test. Visitors who are non-symptomatic or who have mild symptoms must remain in isolation at their accommodation for a period of ten days from the date of the positive diagnosis (Antigen and PCR). Visitors who require medical attention must be transported by ambulance or COVID-19 approved taxi based on urgency to the Respiratory Hospital.
Criteria for discharging patients from isolation without requiring retesting:
• For symptomatic patients: 10 days after symptom onset, plus at least 3 additional days without symptoms (including without fever and without respiratory symptoms)
• For asymptomatic cases: 10 days after positive test for SARS-CoV-2
USA: After 10 days, an individual who is non-symptomatic may travel on a commercial airline, no additional test is required for travel. The original Antigen or PCR test will be used for travel (noting the ten days from diagnosis has elapsed). Retesting is not required. Per CDC guidelines, travelers to the US require a letter from their healthcare provider or a public health official stating that the traveler is cleared to travel.
UK: If your test result is positive, you must not travel. You must follow local rules and guidance for positive coronavirus cases. If the result is inconclusive, you must take another test. British nationals who need consular assistance should contact the nearest consulate, embassy, or high commission.
I am a fully vaccinated visitor. Can I stay with local friends/family?
Yes, you are permitted to visit or stay with family friends if you have been fully vaccinated.
What are the restrictions for a group of visitors who have mixed vaccination status? For example, can the fully vaccinated guest go to the supermarket for the group?
Yes. There are no restrictions for the fully vaccinated guests who have been issued with a wristband as long as they abide by local protocols. Unvaccinated guests will need to abide by the applicable restrictions.
Are fully vaccinated locals permitted to visit or stay in a Covid certified hotel?
Unfortunately, not at this time. It is also not possible to visit a guest in a certified hotel, regardless of vaccination status.
As a fully vaccinated visitor, can I meet local friends and family at a restaurant?
Yes, fully vaccinated visitors can dine at independent restaurants with friends and family. Social distancing protocols must be observed and as an international visitor you must wear your wristband.

If my first dose is one type of vaccine, and my second dose is a different type of vaccine, is this acceptable for my status as fully vaccinated?
Yes, you can have doses of different types of vaccine and still be considered fully vaccinated, as long as the last dose is at least 14 days before your arrival.
What are the restrictions for a group of visitors who are mixed (fully vaccinated and non)? With particular reference to villa stays. For example, can the vaccinated guests go to supermarket etc for the group?
Yes, fully vaccinated travelers may enjoy the expanded access however only they may do so.
CHECKLIST
